Got am email from Off SAKS today regarding a "Buy 1 suit, sport coat, trouser, Get 1 free of equal or lesser value."

Here are suits they had that I found in my price range:

Saks Black Label made with Zegna fabric:

$450

Armani Collezioni: $750

Either of these good buys at those prices? Remember, I would only be paying $750 for two new suits.

I would have considered Hickey Freeman, but I didn't find the fit flattering ( tall, thin, athletic build).

They had a real E. Zegna for $1,200, but that is too rich for me.

Thoughts?

Went ahead with the Saks Black Label slim fit at $375 a suit in light grey and navy/feint burgundy windowpane pattern. The fit was nearly as good as a Zegna on me. I know it's construction is not in the same universe as a real Zegna, but I just didn't look good in a Hickey Freeman. The Armani was actually $600 a suit which was just too much. They wanted $1,000 a suit for the real Zegna's.

I was mainly looking for dress trousers and a brown or cream color sportscoat but didn't find neither.

Decided to cancel my order. Just don't like the fact I am getting a lesser quality suit; maybe at $200 per, but $375 is too much.

I get multiple emails a day from Off Fifth about its latest sale. Why is this newsworthy? They might have more sales than JAB.

I was seeking opinions on how good of a deal I was getting. I wasn't trying to let people know about a sale. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, no, not a good deal, they frequently do 60% off and even BOGO.
