There might have been some L at the SF Bloomingdales when I was there last week. There were definitely some S, which makes me think there might be some L. You should call.

Can anyone give me 42L measurements? I imagine it would be a pain getting trying to get them from a Bloomingdale's SA.

It pains me to do this but I have a 52 R grey gun-check going back to Bloomingdale's unless someone here is willing to take it off my hands, at my cost of $444.13 ($407.92 + 8.875% NYC Sales Tax). Tags are still attached, purchased yesterday. Picture below copied from earlier post. I can provide a copy of the receipt if you are interested.

Unfortunately, the Eidos pants are too damn narrow in the hip/thigh for my build and the pattern just doesn't work as a blazer for me. PM me if you're interested and can figure out a way to transact seamlessly.

PS - I hope I'm not in violation of forum rules for posting this here but it seems on topic to me.

Just FYI - the suit at Bloomingdales that you have is not the same one as the one in the photo above. Did you try to let the trouser out??

I wish there was a way to edit my original post but I'll post pictures of the actual suit momentarily. As for letting out, they've not been touched by a tailor. I tried them on for my tailor and he laughed. The waist isn't the issue but the hips are where's there little wiggle room.

Here are pictures of the actual suit. Pardon the poor quality iPhone pics. As an aside, sale items went from 50% off to 65% off sometime between when I first went last week Thursday and yesterday. I received a price adjustment of nearly $1,000 on the items I purchased last week - There were a ton of Caruso blazers and suits in 52 (until I got there)

These are the jackets in 40 (the blue in the background was the one I bought): On the extreme left is the jacket in Zegna fabric and the one on the extreme right is made from linen.
Just kopped the linen on the right. I'm done. I need to go into shopping detox after this month.

Are the motif on the inner lining of the sportcoats and the turqoise lapel pin of a sewing machine? They remind me of my granny's old Singer sewing machine :)

Nope its a charioteer being pulled by one white horse and one black horse. A nod to Plato's allegory of Phaedrus.
