Banana republic cotton ridged blazer for sale

I bought this black blazer back in september and could not return it because i ripped the tags off. It is a size 40Regular and i bought it for 198+ tax which was about 215 dollars. If anyone is interested, I will send pictures. I wear a size 38R.

Hi. The tags says Modern fit three-button blazer 40R. I will post the pictures up on here in a couple of days. Have to borrow a friend's digital camera because mine does not take pictures that clear. Cheers.

I am considering selling it for 95 dollars if any of you are interested. It's new so I will give you all the tags that came along with it but of course the tags are not stuck to the blazer b/c i ripped it off the moment i got the blazer.

There is one tag still stuck to the blazer that I never took off because I haven't touched the blazer and just left it in my closet. Basically i lost 120 dollars b/c I couldn't return it back since i ripped the tags off because I didnt know my size at that time. I am 5-8 150lbs so the 40R is a just a bit longer on me.

I think this blazer is a bit heavy for the summer. I mean I wouldn't suggest you wear this blazer when its 70 degrees plus. I think this blazer is best suited for the Fall season. I will post pictures on Wednesday. Thanks.

I do not know to tell you the truth. I just bought what looked good from the Banana Republic main site. Some poster in this thread said they also have the modern cut and they like it so I guess the modern is pretty good from their point of view.

i purchased the same blazer in december (it was on sale for 109 i believe). i'm somewhat between a 40s and 40r. the sleeves are just right on a 40s but then the jacket length might be too short. i often buy a 40r and jsut get the sleeves done. on this jacket, the 40r was simply way too long (past my fingertips extended). maybe this has somethign to do with their modern cut??

im surprised they wouldnt take it back. i had taken the tags off and they accepted it. i noticed they checked that the pocket stitching wasnt taken out yet but other than that, as logn as i had the tags, they had no problems. it takes them all of 5 secs to reattach a tag.

oh really? I bought this in September so it's way too late already. I read their T and C like in late September and read that anything with tags ripped cannot be returned back so I didn't bother. I also bought a 38S modern blazer another one not this one for 300 and didn't return it back b/c I ripped those tags also and thats why I didn't went to return it.

Hey, was it a blazer you bought from banana or was it something of lesser value like a sweater. I heard someone said they returned a banana republic sweater even though they took off the tags. I thought that they wouldn't do the same with a blazer since it costs much more.
