Im currently a 16 1/2 neck about 2 months ago was a 17. Im a muscular build but currently havent been to the gym in awhile so I cant really fill out shirts with 16 1/2 necks anymore. My neck has stayed big but the rest of my body has tapered down. My chest is 41 inch. waste 32. Im a 32/33 length. Im 5'7'' 155lbs currently.

Anyway I went to JAB tried a slim fit. The guy even said to me he wouldn't sell me it because it was to baggy.

Went to BB tried the extra slim fit. Still very baggy around the waste and back.

What fits me best are express extra slim fit large shirts, but they are crap material and wrinke like no other. Im wondering if there is anything similar to that fit, wrinkle free, and have a high quality to them like BB. Im not trying to spend a fortune though. The 3 for 225 at BB sounded like a good deal so looking for something like that. Ive been recommended by both bb and jab for custom tailored shirts, but I want to resort to that as my last option if I cant find a quality brand that fits well.

HELP

I am 5'6", 138 pounds, 15 inch neck, 38 inch chest, 31 inch waist. I cannot wear JAB slim fit shirts because the shoulders are way too tight. Instead, I wear the tailored fit ones.

You might try Lands End tailored fit shirts. I think the quality is not as good as JAB but they are *very* form fitting in the waist, much more than the JAB shirts.

Have you considered mtm? I did express slim fits but hated the material. After way too much work trying to find an otr shirt that fit I just said ******* and went mtm. Never looked back. There are lot's of online places like tailorstore or deo veritas. I'm pretty confident that any tailor in your area would be able to whip up a shirt for you as well. Prices vary depending materials but this is what I suggest to anyone trying to fit a slightly odd body shape.

I would try mtm if I knew my exact measurements but I don't know them plus I don't know what kind of material they are and if its wrinkle free

You could always try TM Lewin. Their fully-fitted line is tighter than BB. They are mail-order only.

You can also try Charles Tyrwhitt. They have a couple locations in manhattan. They will probably be like BB though.

MTM is probably your best option. Since you are in NYC there are many places that you could use. You don't have to know anything about your measurements. You go to them, and they will measure you.

To name a few, there is CEGO shirts, LS Men's clothing (probably cheaper than CEGO), and Proper Cloth

CEGO and LS Men's are MTM. The nice thing is, you can go in-person, get measured, and pick out your fabrics.
