Going by the pictures, would prefer cedar over chestnut. If consensus is mh71, will consider it.

I wear the same size in all my G&G shoes & boots except TG73 where I size up half a size.

Burnham in Cedar, from a previous GMTO (in F I believe).

That's amazing looking did they get extra burnish on toe box & is it possible to get it done from gg so it looks like that pic?

Do let me know so I can finalize it to cedar & single leather sole with toe tap. Like I said gents in this gmto are very flexible

Give me a couple of hours and I might be in for them. I thought an F width might be better for me, but i'm second guessing myself since chelseas should probably fit a little more snug and I would wear them with thinner socks. I'm just wearing my St James II's in an E width in a half size down from my boots. I would prefer the wensum and i'm good with either chestnut or cedar.

Ok let me know man so we can get this rolling. What size are you? And do you size up on boot? I would stick to your normal gg size. But I agree with you.

I have the following:

St James II (MH71) - 8.5E

Thorpes (MH71) - 9E

Glencoes (GG06) - 9E

I have a pair of Thorpes on order in an 8.5F right now too.

I wear the Thorpes and Glencoes with thicker socks and I wear the St James II with thinner socks. I've only worn the St James II's a couple of times, they're snug  but not uncomfortable.

I'm a 9 D/E in length on the brannock and a 9.5D arch length. So i'm kind of between sizes, so things can get tricky.

I'm in as #5 if it's vintage chestnut, cedar or rioja...
