I think I am going to place an order for a Nevis and want some opinions on it.

Last: 202
Color: Cloud
Sole: H/AF
Edgetrim: Black
Eyelets: Black exposed
Welt: Flat

I'm having trouble deciding on the welt and eyelets. I haven't seen a Nevis without blind eyelets and most have reverse welts.

Flat welt, yes. I am personally not a fan of derby boots with blind eyelets. For me, exposed eyelets all the way.

Well we would have to ask G&G to do it for us in Laguna patina.

Laguna sounds like a custom Patina. Can't be ordered through retailers. Only G&G flagship. I know Nick has had a few made up, but they are not available to us.

THE BEAST IS LOOSE!

Now accepting pre-orders for the Carmina Frankenstitch Jumper in Black Horween Cordovan. 14 slots!

tell me when navy...

Almost went ahead and ordered until I realized it was for black shell.

It seems the consensus is that we want this boot in non-black again:

Damn, I gotta eat more horse meat. You all should.

I think it should be added to the US constitution that it's an obligation for every God fearing, patriotic citizen to eat at least 200 pounds of horse meet every year.

Leaves, do they work with other cordovan suppliers? I recently saw some excellent specimen of museum cordovan in green and navy with very pronounced mottling in Japan.

It's not an option because there's no availability in Burgundy. We were given 14 slots for Black Shell. It's that or nothing. :)

The more I look at it, the more I think the frankenstitch was made for black shell. It's the marriage of wild stitching and punk black that make it a kick ass casual boot.

No, they will only work with Horween. That relationship goes a long way back.

Is there an error with Skoaks website?

Not as far as I can see. Email us if you have any issues describing the problem.

Agreed. It was the first make up I thought of when I was given slots for Black Shell.
