Well . . .

For me, they just got too much going on.

+1....although the idea of calfskin / pony combo could make for an interesting spectator.

They are interesting as objects, but what occasion would you find to wear them?

They are black, which makes them a bit more "night time" in my mind (they certainly ain't business shoes). They are double monks with broguing, which makes them kind of casual.

I think that they would pimp out a going out type outfit, but they are almost too stuffy for that.

I think that you could (maybe) build a whole look around those shoes, but I think that you'd wear them four times a year, tops.

Yes, yes you are. They belong in the worlds worst catagory.

BUY THEM...wear them to a bar with some jeans and have good conversations with woman! If they like em or hate em it will be a good conversation piece. Most of the woman I dated prior to getting married would always tell me they look at a man's shoes first. I think you could have some fun with those!

Yes, yes you are. BUT, I suppose it depends on how they can fit into your wardrobe...

When they are looking down, they just want you to think they are looking at your shoes.

I have a pair of hairy black loafers (I always thought they were cow with thw hair left on), but these may be too busy-looking, what with the two-tone effect, the buckles and the brogue pattern.

Apart from that, black labs will give you suspicious looks.

They would be great to wear to an S&M bar.

I actually really like them, although the color presents problems as others have suggested. I would be all over them if they had my size, and I would love them more if the "hair" was white.

They're quirky, but kind of fun.

Nevertheless, I'd still wear them.
