I'm a 6E in the 7 last for AE, does this mean I am screwed sizing wise?
Do they make 5UK sizes?

Officially, they start with UK 6 but maybe they offer special sizes in their shops. Other makers sometimes do.

You should probably call them.

can anyone comment on whether these run a bit wide? I'm a 7E in allen edmonds 5 last and i have a pair of loakes in the 3626 last in size 6UK which fit me fine. Wondering if a 6UK in the kemptons will be too tight

I wear Grenson, Cheaney, Barker, C&J, Alfred Sargent in 8F. Loake's 026 last is too short for me in 8F and too wide in 8.5F (have both) so mine will be on sale pretty soon. I also own the Pimlico in 8F (Capital last) and that one is a better fit for me length and width wise (though still a bit wider than other brands in 8F).

Discount Shoe Sales in Strutton Ground, Victoria only stock the Kempton with a leather sole.

As no other shop comes remotely near them for price on Loake and they will not order specially for you, I would go for their Kempton,

Just noticed Herring Shoes now also offers the Herring Gosforth II besides the Loake Kempton and Loake Pimlico.
The Gosforth II seems to be made on the same last as the Kempton, 026, but is offered in Cigar Suede instead of Brown Suede, which seems to be just inbetween the Kempton and Pimlico darknesswise.
Till now I thought Herring Shoes were made by Alfred Sargent, but the even the stitching looks identical to the Loakes.
What do you guys think?
Another Kempton which offers a new shade of (dark) brown suede?

The Kempton is out as the 026 is shapeless and non exciting. A bun. Definitely the Pimlico. The darker brown is also better looking with jeans and darker pants.

Herring's offerings are made variously by Alfred Sargent, Cheaney, Barker and, I think still, Loake.

I am a 7D in most Allen Edmonds shoes. This by CT is available in 6.5 and 7.5. Would either be a ok fit based on the last? Is this made by Loake?

Loake Pimlico - Dark Brown Calf - 8.5F (UK) on Capital last

Going strictly by measurements I should be a UK shoe size 9, but as you can see even the 8.5 had too much room, both in width and length. Stock seems to be low everywhere at the minute so I'm waiting on a size 8. They're also not as dark as they appear on Herring's website, Loake's website is more true to life I would say; although I've found Herring's customer service pretty responsive in my experience to date so will stick with them.
