Teasing aside, i agree completely. I'm a "less is more" kind o fguy, and I would totally wear the plain white band. Is that also white gold?

pretty sure that not many people use signet rings anymore, now that most people are literate.

The signet rings in the OP look just like others tht I've seen, not sure what you are seeing that I'm not.
