Tried on a couple of riders at the SLP store today. They are absolutely tiny, could barely get into the 52, and the sleeves were a good two, three inches short.

Is it safe to say that the dressier boots don't work well with stacked denim? Is that just kind of messy?

You can get away with some stacks if the hem is narrower on the jeans. The stacks on yours aren't that bad, in my opinion. Definitely seen far worse.

I think Chelseas fair best with the 15.5s at the end of the day..

^^So failing getting some 15.5s what could help the stacks? Just better arranging of them or are they too long/short? I had them hemmed by about 3" (I'm a 28-29 inseam for regular pants). New to the idea of keeping the jeans long. I realize this only works with narrow hems.

I tapered my 17.5cms from the knee down. Haven't worn them much though.
