I think the jacket is pretty cool and once it starts getting more worn and aged the whole jacket will come together. Aged leather + studs has that classic rock and roll feel.

Tight jeans are in and I think most of us can also put some work into striving for a lower body fat %. For health reasons we should be sub 15%. To rock that heroin chic look and emulate the style of SLP models, getting closer to single digit is probably what is necessary.

Just to let you know, those are actually SS 14. The AW 13 ones are not pleated and lower waisted.

@kieran just killed my high...so that is a flat front then and not a pleat? They both have the unfinished hem and looked so damn similar in my excitement of finding online... i am hoping that they look as close to the AW 13s as possible then...is that better? are we splitting hairs or should i be expecting a really different looking pant than what i was hoping for? thank you for schooling though...edit reflected above to now show pics from SS14.

Yeah the AW 13 ones are flat fronted and a bit lower waisted. Here's some pictures, although they look a bit small on the LVR model:

They actually were carried over, but in different fabric code I think, but I've never managed to get to try them as they never seem to be in stock. Something I'll have to get around to trying at some stage.

The SS 14 ones are cool too though.

On the subject of ultra skinny look, a lot has to do with genetics and your body type. Certain people are naturally that thin and will stay that thin due to genetics. It's nothing more. Working out is obviously needed to remain lean. It will also add muscle tone and that is perfectly ok. You will also gain weight with age. With that said, it's always best to get clothes that fit your body type but trying to become something you aren't just to wear clothes might not be the healthiest way to go.

Yeah, I'm was in no way, shape or form trying to say that people can't wear skinny jeans. After all, day in and day out all I wear are black skinnies - including 15.5s. What I was trying to get at is that for some people, they just don't look as good and other denim cuts would suit them much, much better. I think Jbid says it well- it's best to find clothing that fits your body type rather than try and fake that what you're buying works perfectly on you.

You see so many guys in SLP where you think, "no, that doesn't look right on him at all." Sure, we can all work out and strive to fit what we lust for, but in the end it's not worth starving ourselves or building our days around losing weight. Simply put and not to be read into too much- he'd benefit a lot with jeans with a slightly looser fit.

I think the jeans fit him fine. The jacket, and boots may be what's making them look a little weird, it's also seems they have that raw denim buldging knee which is always fun.

A better footwear decision may help. Just my opinion though. I've seen tighter than that on guys.

Really looking at it, I definitely think it's the boots or how he is wearing the jeans with the boots

got a chance to try the blue trash denim myself, was worried how the rips were gonna line up seeing I'm around 5'11 also but I found they were fine. apparently they were designed so each hole worked for people of different height, and eventually they'll blow out and become one big rip a la the knee blowouts. can definitely see why people may not like them though, but I was a fan.

pictured here with brown suede wyatts from this season (the caffé ones, pic makes them look really dark):

supposedly the destroyed denim for next season is supposed to be really interesting, ie rips that have been patched up and such instead of just blown out. pretty interested to see those, and a heads up for people that weren't so enticed by this season's.

got to see a bit of the footwear buy for next season as well... apparently they're returning to the fw14 pattern for the cowboy wyatts aka super slim again so no more issues with the shaft sticking out too much with d02s. also in the mix were some gold wyatt sidezips that look sick, and a lot of the new distressed sneakers look awesome as well, granted they're not really my style.

@nicksh,

What's the size of the jeans in pic?

they're a size 29. last time I checked I'm a true 30, these fit in a 29 for me pretty spot in, could probably have gone with a 28 waist but idk if my thighs would've made it. I'm 5'11 145lbs for reference.

@Nicksh looks good man. I wear mine all the time and love em,compliments everywhere I go

thanks man! went in to see what they still had from the new season, was especially hoping to check these out, they honestly fit perfect, even feels weird wearing my d01s again after haha and the wash is just killer. could definitely see myself thrashing them till the knee blows out and they're just absolutely trashed.

actually also got to check out this season's l01, I'm usually a 46 but the 44 was a spot on fit, I think neonrider and maybe others mentioned before about this season's leathers fitting a bit large so maybe here's another frame of reference?
here's a quick snap I took of that, lighting is kinda **** + mostly black so kinda tough to see the details, but size 44 l01 w/ size 29 d01 black raws.

Thanks mate.

I am about 5-11 to 6 and went for the 30 waist. The "holes" are slightly lower than where my knee caps are.

@Nicksh ya, the fit on them is really good of the rack compared to some last season. I had mine tailored a bit and they are perfect. I hope this coming seasons black destroyed fit better. D01 is lookin good.
