Good luck w/ those! Not to try and rain on your parade, but I was just wondering the other day if the demand for RG is starting to wane. I know that I'm not selling the used ones as quickly or for the prices that I was getting 6 months to a year ago, granted my recent ones haven't haven't been overly obnoxious or 2XLs+. Just starting to wonder how long before they go the way other brands, say Ed Hardy for example.

Slowing a bit for me as well, so I don't pay too much for them (or if I do, make sure I can return them). Dude is certainly cashing in on them while they're hot. As I wrote that last sentence I wondered if there is a person named "Robert Graham" at Robert Graham...turns out it was founded by Robert Stock (whose shirts you undoubtedly see with regularity at the thrifts). He also co-founded the Chaps line with Lauren. Huh.

We'll see. I do have a month to return them...

My best results have been on super-wild, and/or the numbered (limited edition) shirts, and/or larger sizes (3XL etc). I feel like a tool when I return a lot of stuff, but I guess that's my hang-up.

So, got a response from my vest guy...

Irregardless of all of that, and I am fine with the condition, per your description, I thought that I was purchasing Down vest. Now I'm hearing you say "that you couldn't swear to it being down, but it might be some sort of synthetic". Your add said down and this is not. I'm not interested in repackaging the vest and wasting my time at the Post Office for a $7 item. Just pay attention to your descriptions in the future.

So I have a hard time controlling myself so I replied back instead of just dropping it

I don't know how you can assume it isn't down just because it is washable, I can find multiple instances of washable down vests

I could definitely see myself ending up with my second negative feedback of the week

A couple are limited, the rest are the 2nd tier (268 retail). I list tonight after the ghosts and goblins are gone!

-Japan is an E-DELCON country-

Can someone point me to a link on the USPS website showing a list of the countries please? The list I see doesn't have Japan on it. I'm not trying to start anything, but I would like my ducks in a row as I am contemplating opening up to international bidders. Total newb to the international scene.

Thanks!

I definitely think desirability is proportional to size for RGs. Better prices and faster sales with XL and above IME.

Japan isn't on it, but the shooz I sent out today (label purchased through ebay shipping) most definitely have a delcon tracking number. LK-somethingsomethingsomething.

But did the label have the DELCON logos on it? All labels have a tracking number, but not all labels are actually tracked once the leave the US.

No it did not have the DELCON logos like packages to Canada do. I'm pretty sure others have reported them being tracked all the way through in Japan, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. The conventional wisdom in the thread being the Japan is no problem, which is easing my mind somewhat.

And thankfully a US buyer hit BIN on that other pair that was getting interest from Ukraine.

Was is first class international or priority? I get delivery confirmation on most of my Priority, but not really the best tracking. DELCON is a first class service.

First class, only because the shoes weren't all that valuable, Japan is supposed to be good, and the buyer has 100% feedback at 300+ so I'm confident I won't get screwed over. Based on the buyer's history and his email address containing the term "footwear," I'm pretty sure he's e-thrifting them to resell over there.

I know that one - called The Hunt. $398 retail, sold one this week for $249 in 3XL (might have been able to push it to $299 but wanted a quick sale, and it was!). Not sure what you paid for yours - the NMLC near me had them at whatever their discount price was, plus 40% if you fill out a form giving your email address (otherwise it was 30% off the ticketed price).
