Can anyone tell me where to find the cloth number on the mfg. tag of an Oxxford or if it's even on the suit at all? I wanna see if the fabric is still available to have a vest made if I buy it.

Never mind about the Zegna, I got an answer.

One side note, it this is a older item or even one that has been around a while be care ful to make sure any fading/darkening in the suit matches the material of the vest.

I didn't even think about that one, yeah that would be a bummer. The suit was made in '05 and supposedly worn 3 times for whatever that's worth, lol. How quickly does a color change occur in these types of suits, any worries with something that new? Thanks for the heads up on that though, I'll take that into account from now on.

I can't say for suits but I know for instance my wooden desk literally ages by the week. You need to check with someone who knows but I think in or out of direct sunlight they do change color.
