I wear a slim small in j crew, but wear a 40 in Taylor stitch. The 38 in Taylor stitch fits perfect through the body, it's just too short. Tried the 40 and it's the perfect length, and still fits reasonable through the body.

Love TS. Have quite a few pieces from there, and pretty much know the staff by now. I agree that their cust service trumps all stores I've personally been to.

Example:

The riveted buttons on my black denim fly gave out (just one) and not only did they replace all buttons with a newer, sturdier version, but they did the same for my khaki chore pants (first run, in 12 oz duck canvas) while I was looking around--free of charge.

I love their stuff, but I do wish they'd play with a wider color palette and more designs. My only real issue.

Couple of suggestions for the TS crew:

1) Web site on mobile: the "Notify me" flag hovers around the mid point of the screen and does not go away. This is on an iPhone, so I assume it's the same for all webkit-based browsers.
2) Please bring your thick leather belts in a black and oxblood version. Black is the only basic color you're missing.
3) More linen stuff!
4) More women's stuff!
5) More "natural" rather than white fabric; and your tees are too long, by maybe 1.5-2.5 inches.
6) Bring the Chore pants in more colors, like mustard and plum.
7) Bring back Tellason denim or heavier weights like 15.5-18 oz, but left-hand twill for softness.

For basics, I haven't found a better place than Taylor Stitch.

I blew out the crotch on a pair of jeans that I use for work on fridays...(might use them as my everyday jean because they are great)

Its possible to send back to you guys to "fix" patch up etc? Kind of waiting till its too warm when i will transition to your canvas tan jeans in stead.

Has anyone bought one of the waxed canvas jackets? I'd be interested in your opinion, looking for something not to heavy for raining days in Atlanta.

Water resistant is not water repellant, it's a good jacket but don't expect too much of it.

I hope they restock the Highlands shirt in green. It's off the site, so I hope that doesn't mean it's gone forever.

This. I bought the golden color and its clutch.

I would ask them if you can apply that nano protectant spray from Leffot. That should make it far more water resistant.

Just curious if anyone has Otter Waxed their Project Jacket like Taylor Stitch video showed. I was thinking about doing it, but am hesitant based on some mixed reviews of Otter Wax on amazon.com....

just wish I could see one after waxing and a couple months of wear....

I ordered some otter wax the other day, once the jacket and wax arrives I'll give it a coat and see how it goes. Maybe hold off and I can give you some feedback after a few weeks of waxing the jacket. Fingers crossed the wax and jacket arrives in the next week or so.

i've otter waxed a few items (jackets, gf's purse, bags)- they always turn out really well. just be warned that after waxing (with any wax) the product will usually be a shade darker.

For water proofing you mean? Why not use the nano protectant spray made for suede and other fabrics?
