I'm not the one flying but it's good to know I can still count on you to jump to conclusions without any fact-checking whatsoever.

Some inconsiderate prick let their dog *********** apartment elevator this morning and didn't clean it up. My roommate stepped in it on the way to work, and I barely avoided it.

I spent almost my entire workday yesterday updating an enormous Excel workbook, saving diligently so that I would have a recent version in case something went wrong. I even stayed a little late to put in some extra time on it and get ahead. Toward the end it started acting a little funny/glitchy, so I just shut it down and called it a day.

I came in this morning to discover the workbook had somehow become corrupted and randomly reverted in places. I have no idea which cells reverted and which kept the updates, so I have to do every bit of it over again.

Anyhow, back to the repair work...

not really pissing me off but kinda sad in a way.... my sister in law's kicking/kicked her husband out. I like the guy, actually everyone says he's a nice guy but he's the laziest person I know. he doesn't really go to work- and work is a small business he "bought" from my wife's family that he has yet to fully pay 3 years into it, he spends most of his days cooped up in the room and would only go out if his friends calls him to come over or if they've got a basketball game set, he's been told so many times by his wife to shape up and was actually kicked out before. they're now living in my mother in law's house, now that she's passed away... think what really sealed the deal was sunday was the first death anniversary of my mother in law, and we had some stuff happening that morning and my dear brother in law went to a friend's party the night before- using his wife's car- left the party at 3 or 4 in the morning and crashed the car into a curb. car had serious damage and had to be towed, and as of tuesday my brother in law has not had the car repaired. they've got 3 kids.
update: okay so my brother in law packed his bags last night. they had a lengthy talk that didn't end up in a fight. he's gonna sleep in his workplace for now. I might call him up and meet up with him over some beer soon.

Ugh. What a pain. I hope he gets a clue and it all works out in the end.

Eesh. Sorry T. Hopefully you get this all worked out soon... know its been stressful.

I hate england, even in a nice city like Cambridge in the nice parts you still have ******* scum. 3 like 16 year old chavs who were with a bunch of girls they were trying to impress, tried to jump me when I was out for dinner with my girlfriend. Luckily being that this Cambridge and not Manchester they were a bunch of *****s and when I picked up a bottle and told them to **** off, they did. I just hate living in England, even in the nice parts theres still these just **** people claiming there benefits and trying to be hard. This was outside the back of a nice restaurant, which happens to back to a field in the centre of cambridge, which is a pretty nice area.

Ah charming England. It should really be legal to assault chavs, and if you accidentally kill one, the heaviest sentence should be like 200£ (0).

P.S. am I crazy or does every one of your stories about England end with "... and then I grabbed a bottle and told them to **** off"?

NPR pledge drive week. At least I'm leaving today so I will have missed all but two days of the guilt trip.

One is currently happening on the local station here. This is when I tune into another station for a week, or for however long the begging lasts.

One reason why listening to NPR on satellite radio is great. No pledge drives, no crappy local filler shows.
