I have filed Paypal claim this morning.
Filed PP Dispute
On 1/25/2012, the seller and I agreed on a transaction for a BNWT Tanner Krolle jewelry box. I paid on 1/25 & received the item on 1/31. However, I could not find any label/stamp/logo identifying the maker. So I contacted the Tanner Krolle store in London (+44 (0)207 529 5822). A gentleman from the store CONFIRMED it was a fake since the company had never made any products without its stamp/label on them for entire 150 years of history. For a jewelry box, there should have been a stamp stating "Tanner Krolle" at the bottom of the box if it were made by Tanner Krolle. So I contacted the seller on 1/31 explaining what I had learned from the Tanner Krolle store and questioning AUTHENTICITY of the item. The seller responded denying any issues, but told me he WOULD ACCEPT RETURN FOR A FULL REFUND.I sent the item back on 2/3 via USPS INSURED priority international mail. I informed the seller the return along with its tracking number (CV019299428US)THE REAL TROUBLE STARTED FROM THIS POINT.Here is the tracking from USPS website:
https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?qtc_tLabels1=CV019299428US&qtc_senddate1=&qtc_zipcode1=The tracking indicated the postal made a quite few attempts to deliver the package on 2/9 & left a notification. Since postal service could NOT leave the package without the seller's signature, the seller USED THIS AS A WAY AVOIDING RECEIPT OF THE RETURN PACKAGE.From 2/9 - 2/24, I contacted the seller 6 times giving him where and how to pickup the package. I even contacted Canada Post twice to get the all the information to the seller including the local postal office address, phone number, and notification number. Yet, for entire 2 weeks, the seller GAVE ALL KIND EXCUSE BUT DID NOTHING!AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND AS THE SELLER PROMISED.Here is a detailed version of this story:
