Excellent, sir. What's the color of the medallions?

Blue and white my friend, thank you :nodding:

So is it normal to get billed for duties/tax, etc. for ties shipped to the US? Just got an invoice from FedEx.

If you order more than $800.00, then yes.

Are you sure? I have always been told by customers in the US that around £50 is the limit...

Edit: Some couriers issue a charge based on the fact that they have to do paperwork to clear the goods, whether it is over the limit or not.

I've never had an issue with this except for amounts in that range...

I've been thinking about purchasing a couple of wool ties, but Cappelli's selection has made me seriously confused. Are the options in the same color just a matter of different textures?

#4 seems a little brighter than the others.

Also, is light or dark grey better for a tie? I'm thinking the former (#2 below). But to be honest, I'm not in love with neither of the grey. What's your thoughts?

They're just all made from different fabrics even though they appear to be quite similar on the webshop. Aside from the weaving structure there might be other differences like weight and colour.

I have the lighter gray (#2) and I really like it, it's very versatile. It is a tad lighter in reality than what the picture suggests on my screen. I'm going to buy #1 soon, too.
