Thoughts on Hugo Boss?

Just curious what do you guys think of Hugo Boss suits? I know that they are by no means the best but what else would you classify them with? (more on the same lines with versace, raplh lauren or more like calvin). . Also I just love how the Boss 38R jam/sharp sweet/sharp suits fit me. They fit real snug in the chest, back, arm and have a nice drop in waist. For around the same price are there any other suits that fit similar i should be looking into? Also i have a small waist so i need the stuff to really cut in like the sharp's do. THANKS!

I'm not sure why a Hugo Boss opinion thread needs to pop up every week.

Sir, are you suggesting OP did not use the Search function to examine if threads have previously been posted on this very subject? You impugn his honour and good name, and I won't stand for it. Rescind your hurtful comment, deny the insinuation, and apologize for your behaviour or it's pistols at dawn between you and OP. I shall gladly stand as his second.

LOL!

To the much maligned OP:

Sorry if we're coming across like a bunch of primate posteriors, but... well... Hugo Boss threads pop up so frequently, it almost seems as though no one bothers to use the search function.

Trust me, this subject has been done to death already, as in: :deadhorse:

I used to wear HB suits a lifetime ago (read: early twenties). Hard 3-button. Black even in the day (ouch). Slim cut. Was good for me then as I could not afford MTM or Bespoke, and being younger and fitter (read: slimmer), could make it work.

These days, I just go to my tailor, and he does his best to hide my many physical imperfections. :)

In conclusion, search function = good, and therefore, happy searching....

To OP, this is a topic that has been discussed numerous times in the forum. Boss belong to the lower tier of suits - Versace Collection, Jos A Bank, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors etc, those are its peers. The Hugo Boss Selection line is better, but the price you pay you may as well get a Ralph Lauren Black Label suit.
