this suit has quite a history. i always wanted it but because of london's weather i didn't bought it. the only person that pop up in my mind that can wear it in awesome way was parker, i passed the link to him and he bought it. asobu told me that its been on yahoo for years... with starting price of 60k? and until few months when the price was around 16k... unfortunately the pants didn't fit parker and ended up coming to me as part of my small archive. it won't get lots of wear as its special suit for me. my girlfriend its wearing it today, hopefully i will be able to take it back

the rest of my pieces are bought with good timing and lots of luck.
Well if anyone can pull off that suit that's you :) It's good to wear it over the SS11 long polo shirt ( I have two, one black, one purple but yet to figure out how to not look like a woman lol ).

Also you will def have dibs on those AW07 Erotic Coats haha ( and for that matter those AW12 last 2 Runway coats lol )

I know I posted this before, here's a better picture. Wonder if they are all PH pieces? The 2nd one on left looks rather feminine ( and nice ).

The one on the far right will be mine ...... one day

do anybody know nice shoes to wear with yohji with a wider fit?
most of the shoes i like are to tight for me. the insoles should be removable because i need special ones.

i tried some redwings but my feets will die until they fit me well. they are just too stiff. any ideas?

Depends if you're talking about dress shoes or sneakers.... and your budget?

Dr. Martens are always good with Yohji, they are tough to break in though at first. but are indestructible and cheap. Y-3 are very good IMO for the casual look. Moma are reasonably priced and may work well.

I recently came across Pataugas when we were in Paris, if you look past the round logo they give out a very good utilitarian vibe and I will get some in due course, cheap and cheerful.

I can see those going with some military style Yohji looks. In a similar vein, Palladium boots are another budget option if you want something casual/rugged. I bought the black canvas version for something like 30 usd. They also do some designer collabs with more premium materials.

This coat is super awesome; I've been wearing it a ton. It is really fun when the wind really starts to blow. I also love to walk with my hands in the pockets, it just feels awesome. I always feel like dancing!

YYPH rayon suit. It is actually blue, but the picture is obviously too dark to really tell. Y's frayed double placket shirt....

The other day, new acquisition, roadtest.

YYPH SS06 Look 32 Zipper Blazer - ( HR-J14-100 ) - 100% 100 gabardine wool, soft hand drapey signature fabric. Size 2, half-body+sleeves lined in cupro, lack of full lining makes this ideal for fall and gives amazing feel in motion especially this fits big. Bespoke SS06 metal buttons, unusual inverted notch lapels, 2B non-working sleeves. 3B closure to a cutaway style ( 4th button + buttonhole are decorative ). Buttoned flap details under right sleeve and on left mid-section. Double YKK zipper on left front + long zipper between back and right upper arm allow playful variations of sllhouette and enhance motion. Superb construction with subtle Yohji-ness.

YYPH SS06 SS Hooded Tee - ( HR-T06-964 ) - light grey, 100% super soft cotton, size 3, long short sleeves, big hood, 3B closure, top one with a loop.

YYPH SS09 Look 15 Leather Insert Pants ( HV-P07-114 ) - 100% soft hand wool, size 3, huge waist and super baggy, front pleated. Belt loops, 2 back pocket flaps, and darts on knee side buttoned pockets in leather. Great in motion with the blazer.

Y-3 Black Leather Hejarklack Hi-Tops, CDG H+ belt.

Yeah I shall try Kiko, both of my 2 polos are brand new, apparently they are different in length, the purple one is much shorter ( 4" ) than the black one. Your look was good, blazer + polo + cropped pants.

Edit:- wow Erolson Hugh, the Erolson Hugh of S.I. Shadow Project? The shop in Beak Street is very nice.

i like both the more casual look and the rugged military look. price is not the important point as long as they really fit me well.

i tried dr martens on yesterday but the model i tried on was too tight. but i liked the look. unfortunately they are not that easy to get where i live. just 1 model available.
i have about 7 pair y3s and they are the shoes i wear most when i wear yohji but i like this military rugged look too.

i will try out the moma shoes. i like the look. pataugas are nice too. have to find some shops. thank you.

@ parker. funny. yesterday when i tried the doc marten i saw some palladium and thought they could fit. :)

thanx guys. if anyone have other recommendations. :)

I am a big fan of simple canvas/leather shoes. Spring Courts, hi and lo Chuck Taylors, Keds, Vans etc. Oh, and jazz shoes à la Repetto.

Hey guys, been a while since I've posted here but just wanted to see if anyone had the general e-mail address for the London store? Doesn't seem to be listed on Yohji's site. Thanks in advance!
