Fitness is the Best Style- Building Your Wardrobe Around Your Body - Page 6

I think this is a good thread.

I want to look good in my clothing for ME, not so much for other people. I'm 30 and married and I'm not trying to pull bitches, but I like to look in the mirror and be slim and athletic and have my clothes fit properly. It makes me feel better about myself, which is priceless.

Anyone who is gaining a lot of weight as they get older probably needs more muscle mass before it's too late. Lean muscle burns more calories at rest than fat, so lifting weights is what's going to help you keep the weight off. I see a lot of 50 year olds (i.e. my Dad) trying to lose weight just by hopping on the exercise bike, and it isn't going to happen, not in any lasting way. Cut the carbs, lift weights, and drink protein shakes.

This is the biggest reason why older women find it so hard to keep fat off, because they've got very little muscle mass. SQUATS!

I mean, do cardio ALSO, because it's good for your health (i.e. heart + lungs), but don't expect it to fix your shape.

Also, it depends on the kind of clothing you're into. If you're Mr Super Trad and you like looser fits, this stuff isn't so much of a concern.

My interest in clothing has skyrocketed since I've become a more appealing hangar though. I used to be frustrated when I bought clothes, but now I like trying shit on because it actually looks good.

The clothes I suppose, wearing Ed Hardy, Tapout, and Affliction will accentuate your monster cock.  Also, if you really want to be a trendsetter, bring back the codpiece.

Follow the example of Ron Jeremy. Leave well enough alone.
