They probably weren't ignoring you. They've had some recent problems with their e-mail. Someone from Meermin posted here a few pages ago to let us know.

As i wrote i got a few answers, but they were just about ordering the pair for my girlfriend. The questions i wrote in my answers about the allready paid shoes werent answered at all, thats why i wrote the questions were ignored, sorry if i didnt made that clear, my english isnt the best. For me it would be enough if they write  me just a short note whats up, like 'the shoes are ready to ship in ... days' or 'the shoes are not here yet'

Hi all,

i saw this on my pair of classic model, semi brogue suede shoes.

Is that normal or its a huge defect?

Can someone feedback regarding this?

That looks pretty bad IMO.

sAs I am quite new to SF, I may have the tendency to be redundant and lacking the inherent sartorial knowledge so evident within this forum.

I have attempted to order shoes from existing stock on both the Meermin and Carmina websites and have received no response from either shoe company. This is rather surprising, since I have not had any problems ordering from Septieme Legur or Emiling and delivery to the States was quick and easy.

Do you veterans have any advice? In addition, it would be great to be included on any group purchases in the future.

Thank you so much.

Hi all,

I need some help. I've been around reading the forum for quite some time but i still count myself pretty green and new to shoes. I've bought a couple of Linea Maestro models from Meermin in the past but recently but i have a pretty bad shipment lately. To top it off, i saw this on my pair of classic model, semi brogue suede shoes.

It's a lack of attention to details when they burnishes the sole edge; they probably forgot to use plastic to cover the toe tip so some of the suede appeared to be burnished by the burnishing iron.  Not a defect per se, but definitely would not pass the quality assurance test at higher priced shoe manufacturers.

Hey chogall, or whoever's experienced, isn't the leather upper and the sole not well stitched? It seems like there is a huge gaping hole. It looks pretty bad but i'm not too sure what's the actual problem. Is this really due to improper burnishing?
