the best thing diemmefootwear page is down. I like Dieme Firenze model more than Roccia Vet. Just can't find them anywhere
It's up again now.

The main performance difference between Roccia Vet and Firenze is in warmth level they provide. Roccia Vet is warmer. It was -12 today and my feet didn't get cold by any means in Roccia Vet. They also are extremely comfy from day one.

I like them and they have a proper sole.
Btw, I might find Begonia Morflex a little bit slippy, but nothing crucial comparing to Commando sole. It's just that nothing is helpful on ice :(

Could anyone please help me with Marostica Low sizing? I wear 42 in Vans (they are a bit roomy, but since there are no 41,5 and 41 is narrow I live with it). Tried CPs, but couldn't get their sizing working (40 too narrow, 41 too long and a bit loosy), so I'm a bit afraid of Italian leather sneakers. :) People said me they are TTS, but I'm not sure.

Reviving this thread... I was thinking of buying a pair of Diemme for winter commuting, mostly for slush/snow. It looks like the consensus is that they Roccia Vet isn't great for ice, but I honestly don't know what shoe/boot is good for ice that doesn't include spikes. I'm leaning towards the duck boot (Anatra), but I can't really find any reviews of it online.

Anyway, does anyone know how either of these would fair in a NY/NJ winter?

Hi, I'm unfortunately not that accustomed to the sizing of Scarpa, but generally most people find the Roccia Vet to run a bit small in size - or more precisely a bit short in length. They have a spacious toe box, high instep, and a medium width last, but about 3 in 5 people will size up due to the length. They are more similar to athletic footwear brands like Nike or Adidas rather than more traditional boot manufacturers or fashion brands - which are generally larger in size. All other styles from Diemme I would consider true to size.
I just read an exchange old more than 10 years :D. Anyways, thanks for sharing all the info here, it was really useful, especially the more technical part.

I heard from a lot of people that the shoes are a bit narrow, while from you I read that they are a medium width. Could you tell me what is a medium width for Diemme and would you compare the wideness to Nike or Adidas as well?
