A survey came via email. Filling it out was supposed to give a preview of the new look, but now I'm apparently stuck with it.
I suppose it isn't terrible, it just seems bland and reminds me of the 'threedifferent' site.

Slightly off topic ,but it seems every time new middle manager wants to add a "notch to his belt" he/she comes up with a way to fix things that are not broken in a first place. I have no clue where else these "improvement ideas" are coming from. I , for one, like the familiar look and design of Yoox. I just wished they would improve their search engine and items description instead of wasting money on this crap.

Their iPhone / iPad applications are pretty horrible. I hope they can take some hints from Mr. Porter.

Absolutely! Ebay are one of the biggest offenders. They never run out of new ways to make the site worse.

Returned, more likely.
it's weird, 2 of my old items reappeared after a few months, and then mysteriously disappeared the following day. usually when things are sold, you still see the item but they just vanished completely. makes me wonder what is really going on...

and the old yoox format did look a little dated, but this new one isn't really an improvement. if yoox is really the website designers for most of the name brands out there, then i know they can do better.

Same here. I noticed they removed a bunch of items all together, not sure if it is permanently. Also there were things in the FW collection that were exactly the same as the SS collection, except at full price. They should work on consistency. I would really like a 15% coupon discount for a few FW items, anyone has any idea when that will be coming?

There was a code "sleepless@yoox" about 1-2 weeks ago. It was a one-night code for 10% off f/w.
You can try (very politely) telling them that you're sorry to have missed that sale, and would they please be able to apply that discount retroactively to your order?

This has worked for me 2-3 times in the past. In fact, they once gave me a retroactive discount on an order I'd placed before the code was even released.

As a caveat, (a) this was always for orders I'd already placed, (b) I order an absurd amount of stuff on yoox for me and my wife, so I may have unofficial VIP status, and (c) i think this is one of those "you have to know who to ask" things. There are one or two customer service reps, names withheld, who are usually indulgent with these price adjustments.

In any case, yoox has never failed to amaze me with their at-times-beyond-ridiculously-indulgent customer service. Especially given that they're essentially an outlet, I'm surprised not to have gotten a polite No every time, let alone the favors they've done for me.

I only wish ebates would do the same ... i placed one order for $1500 worth of stuff two days before i discovered ebates (via this site, of course). Eh.

i didnt know you could stack yoox coupons?!

You cannot. I think he refers to a combination of Yoox coupon plus online rebate from a third party site like E-bates. Else , I have no clue what he is talking about.

I know this is a yoox thread, so forgive me for going slightly off topic, but I have had a similar experience with the customer service at Gilt. Now granted I'm a Noir member (whoopdedoo) but they've actually given me a free shipping code since I order stuff from them pretty frequently. YMMV.
