I would like to hear what some of you use to treat stains prior to laundering your shirts. I no longer take my shirts to the cleaners, I wash them at home, but I do have some stains and I'm not sure how to pre treat them. Would really like to hear from members here on how they care for their shirts.

spray the collar and any other area that gets stained (cuffs and underarms) with an oxy type product. There are a lot of them and they all work in a similar way. I use the Clorox version and it's great.

The "Tide To Go Instant Stain Remover Pen" works very well for small stains.

I have always had the best luck with OxiClean products. Most recently been using their gel stick, rub it on a stain 15mins before throwing the garment in the washing machine. Has worked on everything I have tried it on (blood, vinaigrette salad dressing, red wine).
