Normally you buy the suit in the appropriate jacket size and the appropriate trousers come with it. You can see the measurements for the trousers for each size in the Size Advisor pane. Mixing-and-matching different jacket/trouser sizes isn't very common in suit buying although I don't know how accomodating SuitSupply are for it.

Really? That's weird because I'm a 38s suit jacket but a 31 in pants. The 38s Washington jacket comes with a 35 pants...

The 38R has a 32" waisted trousers but the 38S apparently has a 35" waist trouser on the size advisor. How strange.

I've no experience with the short/long sizes so I don't know why there are such big discrepancies.

Maybe they assume that shorter people are fatter haha. I'm going to call customer service in the morning and see what they say.

over here the short-sizes are also called "belly-sizes", so that might be true :D

I own a linen/wool blend Lazio suit. According to the tag, the fabric consists of 50 % of each. No mention of polymaide. And it is specified that the lining is bemberg. I am wearing it today actually

Thanks man, that is really god to know. Also, I am glad that you mentioned bemberg. I had never heard of rayon going by that name. I did some research, and it seems like the most natural (non 100% natural) and best breathing lining out there. I do not know why all of their jackets would not use such a lining.

Do the offerings in store vary from what is on the website?

Looking for a new summer SC, but not really a fan of any of the ones they have listed on their website--trying to decide if it's worth stopping in the store to check out.

Sometimes, yes.

Can't say whether it'll be worth your while though - perhaps email or call them.

You do live in NYC, don't you?
If yes, I would def. drop by at their store.

I do. Was trying to decide if it was worth braving the shitshow that is SoHo--if their offerings were 100% the same, probably not, but it sounds like they may not be, so I'll stop in after work one day this week.

Thanks guys.

I'd always prefer to go to their shop. You can try the diffrent cuts on, see the fabrics in real light, save the hassle with UPS etc.
I miss living near a SS-store...

In person it takes no time at all to see whether you like the fabric or the cut or some details. The photography of the fabrics online can be pretty misleading as well.

Which fit has the lowest button stance? Looks like from the site's pics, it might be between lazio and Napoli.
