Has anyone exchanged pants for a size down? or do they not let you do that

I doubt it, I heard they'll only let you exhcange it for certain suits, but don't count on it.

Was recommending suitsupply to a coworker this week, to check out for a new suit-- you guys who are fans, have you seen the La Spalla model in person? If so, what did you think of it?

What do you guys think of the fit? It's a 42R London. Was debating if I should get 40R.

I'm 6'2.

Style Size Shoulder Chest Upper waist Sleeve Back length Waist trouser Foot width
London 40R 18.3 44.6 39.4 34.1 31.1 34 8.2
London 42R 18.7 46.3 40.9 34.7 31.5 36 8.4

I've tried on the La Spalla in person. Lordy was that nice. I think the Sienna ticks most of the boxes that the La Spalla does - and I couldn't justify the extra 200 euro for the minor additional niceties.

However if a La Spalla came out in a great fabric I'd be hard pressed to not buy it!

Typical suit supply. Awesome fit with regard to the body BUT sleeve pitch issues that ruin everything.

I tried, but no 40R was available.

Do you guys think it will be too small? The chest on the 40R is about 2 inches narrower.

thanks, man-- I might try to nudge my buddy in that direction; agree, the Sienna seems to be a similar cut with nice soft shoulders, etc.

That chest will be perfect to too small already with a proper shirt. It's already showing a tiny hint of bowing.

So to stick with 42 then?

Who's wearing 44R(EU)/34(US)? That's the smallest size, and I would like to compare to other people with equally body measurements as me to see if I could fit a jacket in size 44/34.

Can someone explain how sizing works on pants?

I am looking for a 32 waist. How long are the pants for regular size and long? It doesnt seem to say.

I checked the size chart and it says 32 waist has a lower waist of 33.9? So it is actually a 34?

I loved the La Spalla...but I absolutely HATED those shoulder pleats and a 38R was much more loose than the Washington in a 38 than I wanted.

So, apparently they're bringing the San Diego back. Has anyone actually ever bought one? I really don't get the appeal...

I remember them from previous seasons and never got it - this is coming from someone who likes larger lapels.
