I don't mind lawyer shows. It just bugs me when: -some senior partner is astonished to discover some new legal procedure -they don't follow the rules of evidence. Hearsay left and right. Character testimony. The latter gives me grief whenever I face a pro se client in court.

Guy didn't balk. He went along with the joke in the board room, but once he got out he was talking to his superior (don't know her title) and handed her a cashier's check for the amount.

I watched this on accident the other day..... and by that I mean that I was high and too lazy to find the remote to change the channel. I found it pretty interesting and DVR'd the rest of the season. It's entertaining, but I have no notion that it is anything like reality.

i'm fully aware that shows like that aren't based on reality... but the thing with boston legal and etc. is that they end up doing the same thing over and over again...

however, i catch the pilot... it's pretty good actually.

i love this show. Reminds me of Mad Men. Is it an accurate reflection of law firms? No, but it is incredibly entertaining and has inspired me to be more assertive in my every day interactions with coworkers. Looking forward to the next season
