Not to hijack ... is BB luxury slim fit the same as regular BB slim fit measure wise? I believe the luxury regular fit measures differently than the other regular fit.

well sure, you can add monogramming too and whatever other options to make the CT shirts appear more expensive - also, with that code, you would be best to order 2 shirts, and not 4, as you're getting $20 off $50.

And where are you getting BB luxury shirts for $50 each? There's a limited number of them in limited sizes in the clearance section of the BB website, and they're $67.50 each. That doesn't really compare to the full selection of CT or even regular level BB shirts that are currently on sale now.

Thanks for pointing that out..I cancelled my original order and placed 2 separate ones. There's also a difference between the shipping cost of 2 vs 4 items....you just save me an extra $14....regarding the BB slim lux, I was fortunate to find the size and couple of patterns that I like...I called my beloved SA at a local BB store and he was kind enough to apply the 2 for $109 promo (plus my 15% corporate discount) for the purchase...It pays to have a good working relationship with the crew...a few cups of venti latte goes a long way ..Thanks again

Just placed my order, thanks for the link and coupon. Where did you get that information from? If I did a regular google search for CT's shop I would get a higher price per shirt ($59) than if I access the shop through the link provided ($39.50).

I check back on a weekly basis as BB is always adding new stuff. There are alwyas coupons and sales so with the usual 25% off, that comes to about $50 each. However, even at $68 they are a very good deal.

I now have BB luxury shirts as my staple shirts and everything else in that (sale) price range just feels like crap.

Right, but the selection is always a bit limited. I know it's been asked before, but how do they compare to their standard cotton shirts. I assume they are better quality but what else? One poster said awhile ago that they were basically the same shirt with plastic buttons but no box pleat. Is this true?

No, it is not true. While they do have plastic buttons, the collars are much nicer (not sure if fused or not), there is no breast pocket or box pleat.

However, and most importantly, the cloth they use is on a whole other level. If I was rating cotton quality and weaving on a 1-10 scale, the BB mainline (iron) would probably rate around a 3 while the luxury line is closer to an 8.

If you want MOP buttons, check out the BF line. I have a few of those shirts and (no matter what you think of Tom Browne) they are pretty nice shirts. I even bought a few for my girlfriend and she loves them.

Just order them and mail them back if you end up not liking them, free returns!
