Actually I feel that timeline has driven me to focus more on my newsfeed and peoples photos. I rarely look at profiles or walls now. And really, profiles/walls are pretty lame - I don't care what people write on your wall or which movies you like.
Also, I tend to regularly pare down the number of friends I have. If I have a reason to block your comments/status updates there's a great chance I want little to do with you.

I have to agree, timeline makes it feel FB is almost directed towards stalking. Not a big fan of that, but I haven't posted stupid **** on my profile, even years ago. I don't care.
