Cheapest days to fly?

Thread Starter
So planning on heading to Europe later this year, probably taking 3-4 weeks off, and trying to figure my itinerary around the cheapest days to depart from the airports. All my previous trips have been paid for, so I never really cared what day I would fly out. And yes I probably could have googled it, but since I was on here I figured I would see what the consensus was.

Saturday and holidays, maybe.

Go to American Airlines website and put in your travel info. Choose the search by price and schedule tab. It will show you the price for that day and for the past 3 days and the next 3 days so you can see price variations per day. I am familiar with this for domestic flights and assume it would be the same for international.
Usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday are lower priced fares.

Also check the fare sales tab at. AA website

ALWAYS Tuesday and Wednesday in my experience. Saturday is iffy, sometimes it's higher in my experience. and during holidays? Shits crazy high, what are you talking about?

Use the "my dates are flexible" feature on whichever engine you're using to search for ticket prices.
