THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST

It might not objectively be the greatest movie in terms of storytelling, cinematography, cultural impact etc etc, but it's definitely one of my favourites. It was also the first Korean movie I'd watched.

bittersweet life is awesome indeed!

Mood dictates favorite movie, but my top 5 is pretty constant, in no particular order:

Lost In Translation
The Big Lebowski
Twelve Monkeys
V for Vendetta
Caddyshack

+ 1,000,000 for Groundhog Day. The movie is so deep, it's incredible.

Papillon, The Big Lebowski, A Clockwork Orange, 12 Angry Men, The Silence of the Lambs, The Godfather, Roman Holiday, The Great Escape, Jurassic Park, Red River, The Shootist, Rio Bravo, True Grit, Kelly's Heroes, Lawrence of Arabia, Pulp Fiction, Bridge on The River Kwai, To Catch a Thief, High Plains Drifter. There are soooo many it is impossible to say which is the greatest and my opinion would vary from day to day. One relatively unloved movie that I would recommend after recently rewatching is a Bronson movie called Street Fighter (renamed and released as Hard Times)

i love a lot of movies and i mean a lot. but the 2 that come to mind now are goodfellas and shawshank.

comidies are harder to classify imo because they are often very generational. and later generations dont alway appreciate the humor of earlier comidies and visa versa.

Casino - I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is the best marriage of music and film of all time.
