Hi S.F., I've been looking to purchase a lounge coat, particularly a navy blazer, and I'm not exactly sure what brand I should go with because I need something that is [very] fitted. In the past, I've been told to purchase something from the children's department, but from what I've seen, the sizing is usually off in one way or another (e.g., chest is good but length is too short). My measurements are: 34'' chest 5'9" height 115 lbs. I have several searches set up on Ebay, but I have yet to see something really wonderful. Any suggestions? (How is something like this blazer from Yves Saint Laurent?) Cheers!

That YSL coat looks good.

Have you tried brands like zara, h&m or uniqlo? Uniqlo has an XS size for most of their products that should correlate with 34R. H&M and Zara both have very slim fits, and a 36 or size S might fit you well.

Another option would be Made to Measure, either in person or something online like Indochino. This would be your best option if you are willing to spend the money for it.

Bro, you are an odd size. I'm a 34(s), and I'm 5'5" tall. I weigh 135lbs. I sympathize with your predicament, since you are looking for an essentially one in a million piece. In my sorta-related experience, all you can do is keep looking. Actually, the thrifts may be your better source. If you have the bankage, bespoke or mtm will get you there, but I cannot (given my pauperage) advise in this respect.

H&M has 34 jackets/suits.

I feel bad for you. You're fairly tall and skinny (I'm 5'4/5'5, about 140). Maybe you should buy 36L or something?

Getting stuff tailored can really help. Tailors are ridiculously amazing, so if you get a suit with arms that fit you perfectly, you can always get waist suppression or remove excess material from the suit.
