All this elongated last talk recently so I decided to wear the longest ones I have. Alfred Sargent (106) which are about as long as my C&J (348). Back to G&G, I think I am going to go with 6.5/7E on the TG73 last. I went to the mansion and tried the 6.5/7D Numan (TG73) and it was just a tad snug so hopefully an E will suffice. Could probably do an F but that might take to long for MTO.

Oh that is so nice!

Depends on how you dress for work and home.

Dress slacks, suits, premium khakis. Sometimes ties other times no tie but always a collared dress shirt. All but funerals and evening dress.

I think St James II in vintage rioja is a good choice also.

also depends on your body style, but i think the MH71 last is a great medium between pointy and round. i know many will disagree with that.

as to style, maybe the st james cap toe, or one of the wingtips would make for a very versatile shoe, and dark brown is always a winner for versatile color.

yes, and they develop a veiny patina as well.

Easy question to answer

Buy the Rotschild or the Walkton which can be worn with bloody well anything except where patent leather shoes are required.

Take it in the round toe GG06 so that it does not mess up your casual look in jeans but also matches, quite perfectly, any formal suit or morning dress trousers.

Colors? Take either a mid brown or one of the burgundies, like Rioja, which goes with every color in your wardrobe, especially if it is antique finished.

You're obviously using too much Renovateur stitches.

Those are not "veins", they are stretch marks as the leather puts on weight from all the "Cuisine Francaise a la Renovateur" over-nourishment.

Your shoes will become obese soon.
