Betting someone has like 6 Galways or something.  I know my worst shoe is the Oakham as I have 4.  I have 3 GG St James and 1 Alfred Sargent Moore as well which I guess is close.

Yep, exactly six Galway's. 4 are still being made though. :(

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Love them! Especially the semi-brogued dark oak variant who's model name alludes me at the moment.

My "worst" (or "best", depending how you look at it) are Mitchells (3) and Strand (3). Though I know it's only a matter of time before there's a 4th Mitchell (maybe vrioja), and my single Holden and on-order Gatsby are certainly going to be multiples.

Was from BE, they had a sale on remaining stock. Pretty good deals to be had. Not married so I didn't even have to justify it. Ha

Is this remaining stock from the recent sample sale?

The only others that can compare are the ones from St Crispins in my opinion anyway.

For a cheaper option, I think Vass executes a chukka well too. What always holds me back with the Arran is the unlined ankle.

The unlined ankle is one of the reason i really like the GG chukka, quite comfortable and light. I do want to try a VASS chukka, but my last attempt to size ended with terrible results.
