Hello, folks. I'm heading to San Fran in a few weeks and would love to find some quality dim sum. Do you have any suggestions? I don't care about price, and I understand that the most expensive dim sum in San Fran tends to be some of the least authentic/least impressive. Thanks.

Yank Sing is good. If you have access to a car try Koi Palace in Daly City.

Koi Palace is probably the best and has the most variety but be prepared for a long wait.

Agreed w/ above, Koi Palace is the best, although its actually a bit south of SF in Daly City.

I don't know if it's the best but I used to go to City View in downtown SF every so often. Great dim sum and it's a nice clean place as well. It's in Commerical Alley between Kearney and Montgomery.

I second Yank Sing. I hear Koi Palace is excellent. Ton Kiang is overrated, IMO. Yank Sing is not cheap, but the quality is better than what you will get at the less expensive places.

The round eyes will go ape **** over Yank Sing. I suggest going there if you are one.

I remember going there after bowling at the bowling lanes nearby and thinking: damn this is really good. I just assumed it was a normal no frills dim sum house.

I was actually going to eat at a pizza hut nearby... lol... but thought "well i haven't had dimsum in a while.. why not?"

Please do not go to Yank Sing. It may at one point have been the spot, but its watered down tourist bullshit now. Ton. Kiang.
