What about the Seymour II? Is it in production aka the new double monk.

C&J emailed me on the 8th June 2011 that:

"The Seymour 2 (made on last 358), will be out as part of our new Autumn/Winter range, stock available in around 10 weeks."

Hi chaps.

I thought you C&J fans might like a look at a vintage pair of C&Js I stumbled on a while ago.

My best guess is that these are decades old, but never worn. Don't know if it's possible to tell their age from the last number or style.

The original price sticker is still on the sole - $65.99. Those were the days.[/url]

AUD65 makes them what 1970s? Crockett and Jones were made under license in New Zealand in the 60s/70s. I found a pair in suede.

I am a huge fan of my C&J Skye boots...they go well with my suits, chinos and especially jeans! Comfortable with very little break-in! Here are some shots:

RE: C&J Skye

Lovely looking boot - thx for posting pics.

Have the C&J Snowdon which is their big country boot and was thinking about either Skye or Coniston for a more everyday type boot. Not a huge fan of the country grain leather that they use on Coniston, much prefer the leather uppers on your Skye's.

How do these fit, do you need to wear a thick sock?

Not at all...any sock will do...they fit well, and have a bit of adjustment based on how hard you tie the shoe...
