I wouldn't be too keen on the Northcote as the 348 is far too elongated for a boot even a dress boot. Makes you look like the wicked witch of the west.

Isn't cardiff on a different last? I like Pembroke a lot, might be getting a pair soon.

My C&J Haul over the past couple of weeks, now need a pair of good dark brown shoes. The Carminas just aren't working out for me :censored: Crappy photos, charging good camera's battery. [IMG] [IMG]

Nice haul, gyasih. Could you elaborate on the sizes you purchased and fit? I noticed multiple sizes

    Gayish,

Nice haul. I see you went wide and sized down 1 on the Hallam. Very smart.

You get to have the lean look and chisled toe of the 348 last but too much space in toe.

What's giving you trouble with the Carminas?

Thanks Alexsf! I wished I could have found it in 11.5 but given the nature of the sole, I'll probably wear them more in the winter, thus I'll be wearing a thicker sock

The 10E are on 348 last and are EU Size, Fin's are on 341 and labelled for the US (Barney's). So, both equate to a US 11D. The Finsbury fits a little long on me, but nothing major. The Peal's fit my feet a little tight, length-wide in a 11D, so I have to purchase those in an 11.5D (I don't know that last)

Well, we'll have to let Gyasih say for certain how it worked for him.

The SA at Crockett and Jones suggested to me that we keep sizing down until the width was as snug as it could be. As the 348 last is so long and the difference in width between sizes is incrementally very small. I went only 1/2 size down from what fits me in G&G TG73. But we didn't try the wider fit. I'm betting that with the wider fit I could have gone down a full size. But I do have a slightly narrow foot.
