It is extremely warm at least that is what I know about the moleskin version. It also has a removable wool lining which is a nice addition. Definitely a nice pick for the winter but moleskin is known to absorb water more than most fabrics so it may not be ideal for cities where it rains a tremendous amount.

ash white. im a fan of it, but to wear w dress slacks the material is too roughspun imo - unless you're wearing with like textured wool like tweed or something

Yea, I have a heavy wool suit I'll be wearing it with, and under sweaters. I think the white denim is prolly too casual tho. Will have to look for an ash white
