Yup, cane sugar, FTW.

I have some in the house at all times. Sam's Club sells it by the case, though it's ridiculously expensive compared to American Coke, so I only have a bottle or two a week.

and sugar cane, though it's weird that it always is after the "expiration date" when you buy it...conne, how is it you are always discovering shit that the rest of us were aware of by high school?

I lived a sheltered childhood. Expiration on mine is June 2011. I found it at a local grocery store for $1.35 a bottle. Worth it for a few bottles a week.

I always thought it tasted saltier and less sweet. Much better than what they market to the states though.

you'd be surprised. its like italians and french when they visit US they end up loving hotdogs and crap fast food. (actually all the french I know LOOOVE macdonalds). what I always love is when you're in countries that sell coke in glass bottles they have weird sizings like other than the 8oz/12oz they also have 500ml, 750ml, 1L sizes as well. here in nyc the distributer for all the bottled coke (for all the kosher deli's and hotels/restaurants) is in Maspeth.
