I actually was part of a laugh track recording a couple of years ago. I was in the audience for an episode of QI and they asked if we'd hang around for a bit, watch this new show and they'd record us for the laugh track.

No one laughed.

So I'm partially responsible for killing a TV show in its infancy.

If you're interested it was pitched as Friends but set in Victorian London.
