The new Oxxford store is about ready to open. It should open the week of September 25th.
The new store address is officially 717 Fifth Avenue, but it is actually on East 56th Street midblock between Fifth and Madison. You can take a shortcut straight from 57th Street through the IBM Building atrium entrance between Nike and Tourneau.
The contractors are still busy putting it together. I saw the woodworkers busy at work today. It will be a lovely store.
The present store will close this Thursday. The store personnel will pack, unpack, and re-organize the clothes for the new store which should open Monday or Tuesday.
There is a great air of excitement at Oxxford from the tailoring shop to the executive suite. The people of Oxxford look forward to sharing their excitement with you at their new home.
