These are attractive at $325. Anyone know for certain if they're made by C&J?

I think the Burford is one of the Spanish/Portuguese made models.

I thought the Buford was in fact a AS made pair. I think the price it represents the best priced double monk out there if it is AS imho.

The description of the Burford doesn't say made in the UK, and I think all made in UK models are so labelled. I like the looks of it anyway.

I just searched Burford online and came away with the AS (thought it was supposed to be Cheaney) assumption based on what other people had said. I think you can always email them directly and they seem to be open to answering these sorts of questions. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=138273

Burford is made in England. Unless the stamp on the sole of mine is lying. My guess is cheany, since it lacks the AS dovetail in the heel and double row of nails. I can post some pics if you want.

Here are some pics of the heel and sole, as well as the upper. I actually wore them today so they could use a polish...

Thanks for the pics. By the way, is there any way you could post a pick from a top angle so as to see the toe box a bit better?
