Whatever one thinks about Starr and his grandiloquent Buddakkan, I have to admit that the food was really excellent when it opened (could still be but haven't been since right after it opened).

Ripert should make judging interesting. He's my favorite personality of the celebrity chefs.

Apparently, they just finished filming recently. I was trying to get a spot for restaurant war, but no such luck. It was a true covert operation.

Word on the street is that Tom Colicchio was spotted at Ben's Chili Bowl one evening for dinner.

Yeah, he posted a photo of his receipt. I believe they also went to Rasika a bit, and I think Blue Duck and Ripert's West End Bistro.

You actually have heard of these people? I've heard of Kelly Liken only because I saw her on Iron Chef.

Then again, I don't follow the restaurant world all that closely.

BTW Dale from Season 4 was from Buddaken.
