No problem but you just seem so lost and confused. You don't know what you want other than the DB9 (although you seemed a bit unsure of that as well). I mean to go from a DB9 to Smart car to S8 is a $100k price jump. I know your ballin but I would suggest thinking about what you want first (good mpg, comfort, speed, luxury, etc...) before considering just any car that you see on the road.

Well in this case it's not about the price? It's more about what i'm after, I look around alot and try alot of cars before I decide. That could be from a fiat to a ferrari. But in this case Audi was the one after looking around a bit, will have to test drive it first tho.

I know it's not about the price (you're ballin remember) but really, you can't even begin to compare a Smart car to an S8. And to even considering after getting a DB9 astonishes me. In an earlier post you stated that you feel that others buy cars just to buy them, w/o knowing anything about them, etc... Now I am not saying that is you because you are obviously doing your research but come on man, you got a DB9 and then considered a Smart car, a car that goes what, 0-60 in 13-14 seconds? Did you really think that will be a good daily driver after the DB9?

I am not being a jerk even though I sound like one but again, look for your priorities and what you need in a car and go from there instead of just picking and choosing from the wide variety you see on the streets. In the end, you'll be left with a car you hate or doesn't suit your need. I mean really, if you can't consider the DB9 as a daily driver, why would the S8 suffice? Just for that extra space? MPG isn't any better. It's a beast on the road and just as fast as a DB9 (the S8 is actually faster to 60). Maintenance and repairs are probably about the same too. So do you really just want an S8 just for the extra space or just because it's an S8?

As a friendly tip, narrow down what you need, list them in order of importance and go from there.

So true, the s8 is double the money of the S5.

There was a XC90 in there at some point as well.

Regarding the Audi's I don't like the styling of most of the current audi models.

For the record the smart car was a joke, I wrote '' maybe its time for a smart car '' not that I ever would buy one. What I was meaning it's time for a second daily car. Well the space is just a extra (and good for that reasons) but it looks classy and would work pretty good with my work. Since I drive alot I think it's perfect for me both in the city and the highway. As for DB9 it's too sporty and we have many bumpy streets here in the city, so it's not a good daily-car to be hounest. And on the winter I will not even drive it?

The DB9 is more for me because I love cars, were I go to show-rooms, discuss, so it's really just for my hobby nothing else.

And many other cars that I have mentioned, as I wrote I have looking for quit many models for a second daily-car. And you are really starting to annoy me you know that? You seem to hate alot and be jealous of everything I write. I will not quote you anymore and care about your opinions, not just in this threads, all threads. Show joy instead of hating man, then I will change my mind.

Stop, you weren't kidding.

why would you look at Smarts after buying a DB9? that's like marrying Mila Kunis and cruising for tired old hookers in the bar during your honeymoon, for "variety"

I want a second car that I would drive to work or when I want to go somewere fast. And that wont drink that much, i'm not selling the db9 man, lol.

Then when someone made a reference to a supermodel and Aston and you don't do or make it cook daily or whatever, you agreed....

exactly, the guys thought I were selling the db9 to get a smart car....

So obviously you wholeheartedly considered it, admit it, it's fine. We are just giving you advice because even though you say you bought the DB9 because you love cars and go to showrooms to discuss it and it's a hobby ( really have no idea what these means, I can go to Home Depot and discuss lawn movwers for an hour and you won't be calling be Hank Hill but whatever), you certainly sound like you don't know much about cars and considering you were talking earlier about feeling sad that people buy AMG, M, S, etc... w/o knowing what it is and just for the brand, you seem to be falling for the same hype you described.

Don't start calling it hate just because people want to give you advice. Plus you throw around all these cars that varies in price and specifications by a mile hoping one will stick or other give an overwhelming thumbs up like the DB9. Again, you look lost and confused. In the post I quoted, you even said something that "won't drink that much", the S8 drinks as much as a DB9.

I'm feeling little sleepy after reading all this. Something more? You have some information about the S8 or not?

You are very right. God damn you make me wanna buy it now. I feel the same, I was looking at CLS, s500 and other cars I thought might work for me, but I want a comfortable business car but still fast, nice interior and comfortable seats. And I got that feeling from s8 it was year 2008 I think the one I was looking at. Black with black windows.

As you know my db9 is not a everyday car and I can't drive it for long trips when I work. Good for summer but that's it. So I really need a daily-car, you think I should go with s8 instead of s5, looks more classy? You get a more sport feeling from s5, right?

The S5 is to an M5 what a the S8 is to a turbo Bentley. They are quite different.

Ya, they didnt do a great job on the latest 8 series. I was lucky and got the last model year before the change.

I say get a VW Passat M6 TDI or whatever Audi has in its place...

You might also consider the VW Phaeton which also uses that W12 engine.
