They tested the 2014 Range Rover yesterday on Top Gear. Pretty nice. Lots of positive refinements, and the body is nicely updated too, eliminating much of that rap start look. Its aluminum now, weighs like 600lbs less.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought Range Rovers have had aluminum bodies since time immemorial

The unibody/frame of the new RR is aluminum; previously steel.

The "Range Rover" projected puddle lights is pretty pimp, though.

I still can't get over £100,000 4x4. I can't imagine a scenario where I wouldn't enjoy a £65,000 saloon and a £35,000 4x4 better.

Never really cared for Range Rovers. They all look the same to me: boxy, boring, and heavy as ****.

If I were to get an SUV, it'd most def. be a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

With that being said, let me introduce to you the hideous abomination that is the 2014 Cherokee:

Never really cared for Range Rovers. They all look the same to me: classy, understated, completely lacking in douchebag bliing.

I could see what they would not appeal to you.

Meh. They're just boring to me.

Perfect for the hot, trophy housewife in her early-to-mid 30s, though.

Having owned 2 Range Rovers I can say with authority that you are an idiot which is backed up by your choice in the Jeep which is garbage. All Jeep products are garbage. I know, I used to sell them.
