Yeah... thats an epic project, and not one forthcoming soon. Carrying 65 lbs of shoes down 3 flights of stairs for proper space and natural light... then of course the ensuing Saphir party... thats about 7 hours that I really wish I had... :(


MAN UP, my friend! Seriously though, I'm living in a ranch style home, and moving over 40 pairs from my closet to the den for a "family photo" has been a daunting prospect. Last August I took one, but I only had around 20 pairs then.

I'm considering only taking the left shoe from each pair to cut the task down in half...

It's officially the last day of summer, so the last of my vintage Spectators are loaded in their shoe bags & boxed up for the winter. These are some of my fave's.

Stenchever's Captoe Spectators circa late 1930's. Note the spade sole... less severe than some of my others, but it's there nonetheless.

I'd kill for those Brown Croc Double Monks !! The only trouble then would be that i dont think i'd have the bollox to wear them :embar:
