Hey guys,
I'm trying to pick between the two. Thoughts? The top photos are Brooks Brothers and is black in color. Bottom photo is Rugby - navy blue

personally I hate the whole toggle thing, and the Polo one is high contrast to boot. also the polo is shorter and the hood makes it more casual. I think the BB is nicer, interesting without being too flashy. Probably also warmer because it's a bit longer. Bit of a Matrix vibe going on though...

Of the three, I'd go for the rugby 100%, though it resembles some form of medieval straight jacket.
The hood, generous amount of rope, wood toggle combo gives a nice but naughty monkish rusticity.
Wear hood up but head down, hands clasped, and repeat 'mea culpa, me boy-o' as you walk.

I like the BB and I suspect it is better made. The rope ties on the front of the Rugby are a bit too prominent for me.

the BB does have a hood - but for some reason you can't really see it in the photo. The odd thing about the Rugby is that it doesn't have a zipper - all you have are the toggles to keep it closed

That's the way duffles originally were constructed, when sailors wore them. Gloveralls are still made this way.

I like the length on the BB better, and I can't say I like the rope toggles on the Rugby much. The BB gets my vote.

The BB looks better. The Rugby's length looks a bit off for you because you're tall.
