So by what you wrote above, you mean the Yuketen boots that were sold to me as being real, then confirmed as fakes by Yuketen themselves, that I then sold as fakes (openly saying that they were fake) within 10 minutes of posting? lulz

I've lived 5 years in NYC, 2 years in Miami , 2 years in Paris and 4 years in Madrid.
I wouldn't move back to NY or Paris, even if I had seven figures in the bank.
Miami is the worst place ever. Giant sprawl with mad humidity and too many fcking malls.
I would move back to Madrid if I could, but the economic situation isn't helping, Spain has the highest unemployment rate for 18-30 year olds in the E.U.

1.I still agree with you on several points
lucilles is bomb, ate there today.
Cyclists are assholes (myself included)
The nightlife is woeful, but I've been sober for two years. so meh. also there are plenty of decent places in denver and red rocks gives us some incredible concerts over the summer. (quite possibly the possibly the best venue on earth.)
You should check out some mexican places in north boulder, pupusas and deli cioso
I can think of some pretty decent resteraunts on pearl which aren't cheap but are by no means overpriced: the kitchen, black cat, and sushi zanmai. Also smooch has the best mochi anywhere. Larkburger ain't bad and neither is Cuba Cuba. For greasy stoner food its hard to beat ***** J's.

On the other hand Frasca embodies everything you're talking about its overpriced, italian, locally sourced and utter crap.

Perfect example of point 2.
I got here at 6'1 195 lbs, no muscle all fat, but one semester and one ounce of cocaine later I was at 6'1 155lbs and then after going to rehab all I do is workout.and im back up to 180 but all muscle no fat.

3. Pay no heed to the hipster bros; most of the people I hang out with I know from pheonix multisport which is ******* amazing resource (its free) and the Boulder Sailing Club

Also I'm going to AI in denver atm

Is Denver like Boulder>? :uhoh:

I was seriously considering UC-Denver as a possibility for med-school, not only due to the school itself but because I'm pretty athletic and my friends rave about it saying it's the 'healthiest place' they've ever been with an abundance of physical activities. I've never really asked them about culture/nightlife/food as all those are important to me as well. Keep in mind, this is coming from people who are only there for 1-2 weeks at a time. Have I been misled?

I'm postponing medical school for a couple more years, but my front runner cities (narrowed down due to city/academics) are Denver, LA, NYC and Miami. Have been going to school in central Florida (Gainesville and Tampa, both cultural wastelands) for too long and can't stand it anymore so I consider even Miami a huge upgrade.

Boulder is like a smaller more liberal upscale version of denver. i go to school in denver but choose to live in boulder because i like it a lot better (my commute is 30mins) Denver is cheaper, but its not a pleasant city to live in.

Also it may be the university of colorado but its C.U. not U.C.

Their website is literally ucdenver.edu so I just assumed that's what it was, haha.

Hmmm, interesting.........I really need to take a trip there and check it out, if anything, just to go once.

Heh, I hope you like it better than I do. Life is pretty much geared towards the in-college and over-30 crowd. I hate it here. Granted, I never actually wanted to come back.

Crap. I thought I just didn't adjust to post-college living yet. I made this same remark to my friend as we headed to yet another bar with 30-somethings and no promise of 20-somethings.

Where do all the people my age (22-27) go?

Well, Denver does have the YSL retrospective. And a lot of music.

Well, the only place I ever really go is the bitter bar. Haven't been there in a while since the manager was sleeping with my friends ex or something, but I think he went to jax. I used to know the bartender at tahona, so I'd sometimes go there, but that's pretty much the worse place ever. 40 year old bros, etc. Plus, she left, so I haven't been there in like a year and a half.

Zanmai does karaoke I forget when, and West End, while not particularly exciting, has a roof - as does the Rio (no, they are definitely NOT the "best margs in the world." Mostly students there, though. I can't bring myself to go to any of the basement level dance places, they're all disgustingly filthy. My good friends run the bars at Riff's and the corner bar, so I go to those places fairly regularly. They're good if you're there with friends, but the usual crowd is 30's, maybe younger at riff's.

You can also go to the 303 distillery on foothills and pearl, which can be sort of fun in the summer, as long as you avoid the thursday night biking crowd (they stop there) - it's kind of hit or miss with the people you find there, though.

Heh, I don't live in Boulder, but thanks. I'll keep it in mind when I'm in the area.

It was a more general statement. I'm around Santa Monica, CA and I've been to a couple bars around West Hollywood and some around La Brea and some around Santa Monica, but it's all 30-somethings.

Even people who are like "check this new dive bar, general crowd is mid twenties". Then I go there with some friends and it's mid 30s crowd with mid 40s regulars with a few late 20s hanging around the tables. Women in white pant suits and 60s blouses. Men in affliction tees and 7diamonds shirts.

I will not care about clothing on others if I can at least find people my age...
