Yeah, problem resolved thanks to Google. Had no clue of the washed leather vs napa leather difference. The washed leather sneakers I received were a shock to me at first but I'm going to give it a shot. To me washed leather boots sound great but not so much for sneakers.

Andy boots: These run about a size large, and I ordered a size down, so that's good. For whatever reason, I'm not all that impressed with the leather. They look like they could be styled well - the opening of the shaft is extra-wide, so they're pretty much meant for tucking - but probably not the kind of thing I'd wear all that often. Also, they're really awkward to get on, probably exacerbated by my large feet and high instep.

Dick boots: The leather's tough and distressed, not anything mind blowing but definitely interesting. They're a little wacky without necessarily coming across as golf-ninja specifically. They have a chunky sole and somewhat bulbous toe, and they might go pretty well with the LVCs I just picked up. peepwall[1].gif Unfortunately, these definitely run TTS. I ordered a 44, and there's no way I could wear them.

My rick's still haven't even shipped I don't think when did you purchase them? I'm glad they don't look like ninja stuff they look pretty versatile. I guess we'll see whenever they come.

Moma derbies probably going back to yoox. I like them a lot but they run a bit large.

Did you size down one? Still too big? I sized down 1 on my boots and the toe is still elongated.

Boots are a 44 but usually boots/welted shoes run a touch big, all of mine are a 44. There is a small chance these boots will be too small for me, but probably not. I hope not.

Your probably gonna be fucked there man, Carpe run super TTS, dat instep (I own three pair)

I would sell those for around 800 + shipping / fee's on B&S, would be a quick sale.

I hope to find out soon... they shipped today! I have a low arch and a pretty normal foot. If I have to sell them at least I'll have a larger budget for another pair of boots. biggrin.gif
