Do you really like those bass? thinking about getting the all black oxford..

I may have mentioned this before but I ******* love them. That may be, in large part, due to the fact that I got them on ebay for $3.99 plus about $8 shipping and they appeared to have been worn maybe once. I think they were NOS and someone thought they'd get bid up and they just didn't.

I get a TON of wear out of them, although they're a little clunky. I actually don't think they were the best choice given the slimness of the rest of my fit today but my longwings were getting their heels replaced and the HR lady gets all fribibblety if I try to wear sneakers to the office on a normal day.

Many years ago I used to think green and purple looked great together because they're the inverse of each other. Later I came to my senses. It often looks sickly and/or cartoon-like. Wearing other bright inverse colors in solid pieces would have a similar effect. Imagine bright blue pants with a bright yellow shirt. Black + white is one of the few exceptions that usually looks ok.

I can't tell what the dramatic change is. Maybe the lighting or the lighting but this is the best SVB I've seen.

Man, I love the shirt. Color looks awesome. Shoes and socks are great as well.

Something about the pants just doesn't feel right with the rest of it though.

Where have I seen this color combo before?

It took me a minute to think of it actually, but then I realized

seriously no hate -- it looks good. I just can't help but think of the above with that color combination.
I was thinking more like this:
